What Is DTF Printing?
A quick, plain-English explainer for buyers choosing a decoration method.
DTF, or direct-to-film, prints your full-colour design onto a PET film. Adhesive powder is applied and cured to the print, then the film is heat-pressed onto the garment and peeled. The result is a bold, high-detail transfer that bonds to the fabric and flexes with it.
DTF is prized for two things: it prints vivid full-colour and gradients with no colour limits, and it works on almost any fabric, including cotton, blends, and dark garments where other methods struggle.
