Check fit
Review measurements and how the garment sits on the body.

GenXport is a clothing sample manufacturer that builds production-grade proto, fit, SMS, and PP samples to match bulk output - so brands worldwide can finalize fit, fabric, and trims before committing to full production. Low MOQ, one team from sample to bulk.

Production-grade sampling, made by the same team that runs your production - no disconnect.
GenXport is a clothing sample manufacturer and apparel sample maker for brands, designers, and startups worldwide. We produce the samples you need to validate a garment - proto, fit, salesman (SMS), and pre-production (PP) - and we build them to match the bulk output of the same facility. That removes the single biggest sampling risk: a sample that looks right but a bulk run that comes out wrong.
Many brands stitch development to one vendor and bulk to another, then lose fit and quality in the handoff. Because our sampling, pattern making, and cut and sew all sit under one roof, the patterns, materials, and methods that make your approved sample are the same ones that drive your bulk cut. We serve the USA, UK, Europe, Australia, and beyond.
If you are a first-time founder unsure which sample you need, the section below explains each sample type so you order exactly the right stage for where your collection is.
A plain explainer, because buyers often search this before they choose a partner.
Clothing sampling services produce a small number of garments before a brand commits to bulk, so you can check and sign off fit, fabric, trims, and construction.
Each sample stage answers a different question, and a good sampling partner takes you through them in order - from a first proto that proves the idea, to a final PP sample that is the approved reference for production.
Review measurements and how the garment sits on the body.
Validate weight, hand feel, and suitability before bulk.
Approve labels, elastics, zippers, and finishing details.
Lock seams, methods, and build details before production.
The goal is no surprises: what you approve is what you receive at scale.
Each sample answers a specific question on the road from idea to production.

Early - proving the concept and look
Across these stages we work through approve, iterate, and sign-off cycles so each revision moves the garment closer to a production-grade result. Not sure which you need? We will advise based on your tech pack and timeline.
A documented flow from your idea to a signed-off, production-ready sample.
We review your tech pack or sketch, measurements, fabric, and trims.
We draft or use your pattern and make the first proto sample.
You review fit and details; we iterate through fit-sample revisions.
We confirm fabric, weight, colour, and trims on the sample.
We make the pre-production sample on bulk materials for final approval.
The same team produces your bulk so the result matches the approved sample.
The clear next step after sign-off is bulk production. Keeping it with one partner is what turns "the sample looked great" into "the bulk matched the sample."

A few checks that separate a true production-grade sampler from a one-off sewing service.
A sample sewn on different fabric or machines will not predict bulk. We make production-grade samples in the facility that runs your bulk.
A disconnect between sample maker and factory is where most quality is lost. We do both, so patterns and methods carry through.
We are a low-MOQ manufacturer, so the move from approved sample to first bulk run does not require a large order.
Patterns, grading, sampling, and production in one place keep fit and sizing consistent.
Clear pricing, fast iterations, and a realistic path to your first bulk run.
Sample pricing
Per style, based on complexity
First sample
About 1 to 2 weeks
Fit revision
Each revision adds a few days
First bulk run
About 25 to 50 pieces per style
Sampling is priced per style, so you can start with a single sample without a large commitment. Sample cost depends on garment complexity, fabric, and the number of iterations. A first sample typically takes about 1 to 2 weeks, with each fit revision adding a few days.
Because GenXport is also a low-MOQ manufacturer, new brands can move from an approved sample to a first bulk run starting around 25 to 50 pieces per style, confirmed on quote - so high minimums do not block your launch.
We serve brands worldwide and ship globally with QC before shipment.

Every sample checked against your spec, so bulk holds its fit.
We inspect each sample against your tech pack and approved reference for fit, fabric, trims, and construction, and we run multi-stage QC through bulk and a final inspection before shipment release.
That continuity from PP sample to bulk is how we keep colour, fit, and sizing consistent across the order.

A clothing sample manufacturer makes a small number of garments before bulk so a brand can check fit, fabric, trims, and construction. GenXport produces proto, fit, SMS, and pre-production (PP) samples built to match our bulk output, then carries the approved sample straight into production.
