Let the pant block set the sock brief
How much of a sock shows depends entirely on the pant above it. GenXport takes the pant block into the sock specification so the two are ordered as a matched pair.
Knicker pants leave a tall section of sock visible, so stripe placement and total height carry the uniform. Open bottom pants cover most of the leg, which means a shorter sock or a plain upper is enough. Decide which pant the team is wearing, then set the sock height, the stripe sequence and whether you want a full sock or a separate stirrup.
Next confirm the yarn blend and the sizing method. Polyester and nylon yarns hold stripe color through repeated washing, elastane keeps the sock in position, and a cotton containing blend feels softer against the skin. Socks are ordered in size bands rather than exact sizes, so send the band breakdown for the roster. A cushioned sole is a comfort choice, not an automatic upgrade, and it adds bulk inside a fitted cleat.

Decoration
How artwork is built into a knit sock
Sock artwork is knitted in rather than applied on top, so the design has to suit the knit machine. Each option is confirmed on the knit sample.
Club lettering
Short wordmarks and initials can be knitted into the leg. Keep the letter count low, because knitted lettering loses definition at small sizes.
Stirrup effect graphics
Used when a stirrup effect is knitted into a full length sock. Specify the cut line height and the color break clearly.
