What we manufacture
The jacket block allows for the layer underneath
GenXport produces custom basketball warm ups as an outer layer worn over the playing kit. The jacket pattern is drafted with that layer included.
Set the block and the opening together. Chest allowance, shoulder width, sleeve length and body length are drafted so the jacket clears the jersey beneath it, and the opening has to be named as a full zip, a half zip or a snap front, since each build changes the front panel pattern and the artwork area. The fit sample is reviewed worn over a jersey, then automated grading produces the graded size set.
Then fix fabric, decoration and scope. Tricot, interlock and fleece behave differently under sublimation printing and embroidery, so the fabric choice and the decoration method are agreed as one decision. Back lettering and numbers are applied from a checked roster and checked with the jacket both open and closed. Matching pants are specified separately as their own line with their own pattern and sizes.

Decoration
Decoration on front and back panels
Decoration is produced in house. The front opening splits the chest area, so placement is planned around the zip and the seams.
Embroidery on the chest or sleeve
Choose it for a compact crest with a defined edge. Check stitch bulk and backing on tricot or fleece before the sample is approved.
Vinyl heat press for back lettering
Choose it for names and numbers across the back panel. Set character height per size so the lettering scales across the graded run.

Draft and grade the pattern

Review zipper run, collar, cuff and hem construction, pocket bags and seam finishing on the sample during arm movement.
