Specifying the short
Outer shorts and inner shorts are two orders
Cricket shorts cover training, warm-ups and general club use, but a loose outer short and a close fitting inner short are separate products. Write them as separate lines so each gets its own pattern block, fabric and quantity.
Begin with the outer short. Confirm the inseam, the leg opening and the waistband type, because fielding drills, conditioning work and casual team use all pull those measurements in different directions. Pocket arrangement belongs in the same decision: side pockets, a zip pocket or no pockets at all change the pattern and the panel area available for branding.
If a liner or a guard pocket is requested, state it directly in the brief. GenXport builds what the specification names, and a garment able to hold an accessory is not the same as the accessory being supplied. Keep that line explicit so the quote, the sample and the packing list all agree.

Decoration options
Branding across a small panel area
Decoration is applied in house. A short has limited flat area, so place each mark against the pattern before artwork is finalized.
Sublimated side panels
Choose when color blocking runs across the side seam. Requires a polyester base fabric, so confirm the fabric family first.
Printed player identification
Choose heat press or screen print for initials, numbers or a squad reference. Keep the mark clear of pockets and seams.
