Gloves are padded equipment rather than sewn apparel, so the route here is specification led sourcing and production. A written brief and a reference glove carry the order.
Begin with the discipline and the glove type. An open palm grappling glove, a training glove and a sparring mitt differ in finger openings, thumb shape, padding layout and closure. Name the type you want, because a product photograph does not describe the build.
Write the specification as a parts list. Shell material, lining, padding layers, closure, size range and branding areas each need a line. Hand circumference and length per size should come from measurements, and the same measurements are used to check the production sample.
