What the buyer specifies
Specify foot size and leg length separately
A knitted sock is quoted on two measurements, not one. Foot size sets the fit inside the boot, while finished leg length sets the coverage above it.
Give the quantity against each foot size you need, plus the finished leg length per wearer group. Calf width and cuff position are recorded at the same time, since a single adult length will not serve a youth squad. GenXport produces custom soccer socks against an approved knitted sample, so the same specification carries into every reorder.
Artwork behaves differently on a knit. Fine lettering loses definition once the leg stretches, so marks are simplified, sized for the leg panel and confirmed on a knitted sample rather than on screen. State the stripe widths and their positions relative to cuff, calf and ankle, and name the required pair count and packing format with the order.
