Layer allowance comes before the artwork
A jacket worn over a match shirt needs a different pattern from a close training top. The brief states what sits underneath, and the fit block follows from that.
Name the garments worn beneath, then give chest, body length, sleeve and cuff measurements with the allowance you want held. GenXport grades the full roster run from one approved fit sample, so shoulder reach stays consistent across sizes. Specify the opening as full zip or pull on, because that choice changes both the pattern and the available branding area.
Pockets, cuff finish, hem adjustment and zipper type are quoted as separate lines. List each one in the brief rather than adding it after the artwork is signed off, since a late pocket can move a crest. A soccer warm up jacket is then sampled with those details built in, which is the point at which access and comfort are judged.
Fabric is chosen for the intended layer. Knit, fleece and shell with lining constructions behave differently over a kit, so the family is confirmed during specification review.
